The village, Bátorkeszi is located in the south of Slovakia in northern latitude of 46 parallell, and eastern longtitude of 25 parallel, in the district of Nitra. It is situated in one of the most beautiful, eastern part of the region Komárno, by east of Váh and Žitava, in the south part of Mátyusföld.
It’s area is 4 589 hectare. It’s elevation is moving between 116-272 m.
According to the census of year 2001 the number of inhabitants is: 3514. Slovak: 13%

In the countryside of the village is located the tallest top of the township, the Erdőhát. It’s 272meter tall.
Bátorkeszi – Bátorove Kosihy, such as the part of Duna menti alföld, is the most beautuful village of the region, it is situated by 15km from the Danube. It is distinguishing like a special area from the ambient villages. It is bordering with the bounds of Nová Vieska, Gbelce, Búč, Moča, Modrany and Pribeta. The village is located in the triangle of Nové Zámky, Štúrovo and Komárno.
